Plant Operator/Labourer – Rural Roads Maintenance

Cloncurry Shire Council is seeking a Plant (Grader) Operator / Labourer to join our Rural Roads Crew within the Infrastructure and Environment Department.About the RoleReporting to the Rural Roads Supervisor, this role is responsible for operating plant and machinery, particularly graders and assisting with the maintenance and construction of rural roads and associated infrastructure across the Shire. About the Role

  • Grader Operator Certification and Formation Grading of Unsealed Roads Certification
  • Current Police Clearance

Desirable qualifications:

  • Traffic Control / Traffic Management Accreditation
  • Heavy Combination (HC) Licence
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction (Plant Operations) or equivalent
  • Plant operator competencies across a range of machinery.
